  Wow! What a day...

  had a pretty deep conversation with my 'still-in' wife.. came home from some business, read some more in c.of c.. then my wife is sick and will not make the meeting tonight.... .

  so we're are both home listening in to the meeting on the phone together.. it's been about a year since i've been to/listened to anything.. .

  so weird.. and i'm posting here with it on in the background.. .

  i dont care about getting df'd in itself, as it is now staring me in the face since the ONE person whom i considered my best friend (i confided my feelings to him about ttatt), has decided he must tell the elders. so again, i dont care. but i DO care about my parents/grandparents feelings. so overall it would really suck based on the fact that it will hurt my family. thats my 2 cents.....

  btw, does anyone know how to treat a knife wound to the back?

  why don't dfs who really know how evil jehovah's witnesses are just harrass them as they go door knocking so that when someone intervenes to defend them they get a balanced story about what the jehovah's witnesses are all about.

  the ones that were raised in it were raised to be anti-intellectual wusses, they aren't going to win a debate or kick anyone's ass.

  but they certainly deserve philosophical and rhetorical smackdowns, they deserve haters standing in their way as they go harrassing everybody in the neighborhood.

  well said perry! jw's are good people and they dont deserve to be made to look like asses. they are under mind control. they have feelings too! so dont say "jehovahs witnesses are evil" please. the leadership is evil.

  i've read on another thread you need to delete the cached file of the profile picture so that it can be updated by the gravatar user.

  i created a gravatar account, added the email address i use on here and uploaded the an image, but nothing happens.

  this was 3 days ago.. could you please solve this problem?.

  Update on Fading Question

  the other day i posted my delimma about dealing with family and leaving.. update: my wife came home from the hall sunday (i have now missed about 3 weeks in a row) and the elders now want to schedule a sheperding call.. should i just blow them off, or when they come over (because im sure my wife will have them over even if i decline) just tell them i cant do it right now?.

  keep this is mind: you dont owe anybody anything. the elders undoubtedly care about your family, at least i know i did care about people when i was elder. but they dont have any power over you and your family. they are supposed to HELP you in your efforts to be a jw. you are obviously awakened, therefore they are no help!
